Meet Alea
Long before Alea ever thought of a career in content and marketing, she was already a storyteller at heart. As a child, she would fill notebooks with light novels and eagerly pass them around for her classmates to read. Naturally curious and deeply empathetic, she has always been drawn to understanding people: why they think the way they think, why they feel the way they feel, and how to make sense of the beautifully complex world we all share. That curiosity led her to earn a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a degree that did more than shape her academic path.
Her love for writing has always felt like more than a skill…it feels like a calling. At 21, she became a self-published author, fulfilling her childhood dream. She wrote a fantasy-romance story woven with life lessons centered on the importance of social support in the face of mental health challenges and the stages of grief. It was her way of saying: stories can heal, and words, when used with intention, can change someone's life.
Professionally, Alea has channeled that same passion into her work as a Content and Marketing Support VA. She provides virtual assistance that streamlines both the administrative and marketing operations of healthcare practices, helping practitioners show up consistently and confidently in their online spaces. She has honed her skills in crafting engaging content across diverse subjects, always tailored to meet her clients' unique voices.
Outside of work, Alea is a proud and devoted cat mom to three very spoiled fur babies named Mallows, Zuki, and Astro, whom she cherishes as if they were her own children. If you're an animal lover, you two will get along just fine!
At the center of everything Alea does is her faith. Her favorite scripture:
Psalm 18:1–3: "I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold."
In seasons of hardship and life uncertainties, this verse has been her anchor. It reminds her that she does not walk alone, that God, her Emmanuel, is ever-present through every storm, every doubt, and every new beginning.
