Meet Hannah

Hannah completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and completed her dietetic internship and Master's degree at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. She has lived in Dallas for the past few years.

Hannah became interested in studying dietetics because she loved learning about everything science, the human body, and the nutritional makeup of different foods. Throughout her schooling, she recognized how much one's relationship with food impacts all areas of life; improving her own relationship with food has shown her how much fuller life can be when it is not dictated by food choices and body image. That is why she is passionate about helping people create space to live a full life through recovery. She provides one-on-one virtual counseling sessions for multiple types of eating disorders and disordered eating across different stages of recovery.

She individualizes goals with clients so they play an active role in healing their relationship with food. Hannah's goals in sessions are to make clients feel seen, heard, supported, and cared for while making progress in nutritional goals that benefit their overall health and well-being. Recovery is hard to navigate, and she loves being a trusted member of a care team to provide support when people need it most.

Her faith is an important part of her life that she enjoys sharing with others and integrating into sessions as requested. Hannah also has a special interest in working with diabetes and blood sugar management, and GI conditions like IBS and IBD. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys baking, hiking, attending Pilates classes, spending time with friends and family, and serving at her local church.

Her favorite Bible verse:

Isaiah 43:2 "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you."

Since placing her faith in Christ, Hannah has loved this verse as a reminder that God is always present and is a constant help in difficult times.
