Meet Natalie
Natalie’s calling to eating disorder work began during her undergraduate studies at California State University, Chico, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in General Dietetics. She went on to complete her dietetic internship at Southern Regional Medical Center outside of Atlanta, Georgia, and has since worked at a variety of institutions treating clients across a broad range of disease states.
Most recently, Natalie worked at an eating disorder treatment center, where she gained unique insight into how to best support clients at all stages of recovery. While her primary focus is eating disorder recovery, her diverse clinical background allows her to thoughtfully support co-occurring medical needs as they arise, always within a recovery-centered and holistic framework.
Natalie is committed to creating a compassionate, non-diet, and weight-neutral space where clients can find restoration in their relationship with food and their bodies. For those who desire it, she integrates her Christian faith into treatment, viewing recovery not only as physical and emotional healing, but also as an opportunity for spiritual renewal, hope, and freedom rooted in God’s grace.
While Natalie is deeply passionate about her God-given calling to work with eating disorder clients, she is equally passionate about extending the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to others. She is very active in her local church and draws strength from her tight-knit community.
Outside of her work as a dietitian, Natalie loves baking, hiking, camping, hosting, and is easily obsessed with any and all dogs.
Her favorite scripture is Psalm 91:1, which reads:
“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty"
This reminds her of God’s great strength and the importance of total reliance on Him, a truth that has served her greatly through adversity with renewed resilience.
