Maddox Nutrition LLC is an outpatient nutrition private practice providing compassionate, client-centered, and evidence-based nutrition counseling across multiple states via telehealth and in-person services in Colorado Springs, CO. We specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, disordered eating, chronic dieting, body image concerns, and helping clients heal their relationship with food and their bodies. Many of our clients seek a Christian faith-based, Christ-centered approach to recovery, and we integrate those values as desired.
Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our team as a W-2 hourly employee. This role requires specialized expertise in eating disorder treatment and openness to providing Christian faith-integrated care when requested by clients.
You will work under the direction of the Owner/Clinical Director, follow established clinical protocols, and participate fully as a member of our collaborative care team. This is a part-time position (starting at approximately 5–10 scheduled hours per week) with the potential to grow toward a full-time caseload.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct nutrition assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and establish measurable goals in collaboration with clients.
Provide scheduled nutrition counseling sessions (typically weekly or biweekly) via telehealth and/or in person, as assigned.
Deliver evidence-based nutrition education and counseling addressing both eating and co-occurring medical or mental health needs.
Collaborate closely with other treatment team members, including therapists, primary care providers, and psychiatrists, per company protocols.
Integrate non-diet, weight-neutral approaches, such as HAES and intuitive eating, within a trauma-informed care framework.
Incorporate Christian faith-based principles into counseling sessions when desired by clients.
Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in the company’s EMR system in accordance with state licensure and insurance requirements.
Participate in mandatory staff meetings, supervision, and team consultations.
Adhere to all company policies, HIPAA guidelines, and ethical standards of dietetic practice.
Minimum Qualifications
Registered Dietitian (RD)/Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with active CDR credential
Licensed in Colorado (or eligible upon hire); willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
Commitment to a weight-neutral, non-diet approach to nutrition care
Strong computer skills and reliable internet connection in a HIPAA-compliant private workspace
Preferred Qualifications:
CEDS credential, or currently under supervision toward certification
1–2+ years of experience treating eating disorders
Multistate licensure (especially TX), or interest in obtaining
Exceptional counseling skills and teamwork abilities
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $40-50/hour + paid admin time, hourly rate based on experience, specialty credentials, and number of licenses held
Schedule: Weekly schedule assigned in advance; part-time to start with growth potential
